The Brief

Acquire government funding for Sony Music Entertainment to establish their Brand Solutions South Asia hub in Singapore.

The Solution

GetJackD! Media developed a comprehensive three-year business and commercial model to acquire funding.  The solution was executed over a six-month period and included working with both Sony Music Entertainment Australia and Sony Music Entertainment Singapore to establish the business model, commercial revenue opportunities and business costs for the region (all South East Asian markets, not just Singapore). The team negotiated with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) on a weekly basis, completed tasks in appropriate government formats, and provided feedback to Sony Music Entertainment to amend the business and commercial strategy, to acquire the necessary funding.

The Results

A three year, million dollar government grant was achieved for Sony Music Entertainment to open their South East Asia Brand Solutions hub in Singapore.
