Utilising a 12m x 4m space we showcased RACQ’s commitment to supporting:
- The construction and growth of Queensland’s Electric Superhighway to assist in the communities transition to EVs
- The training and development of Roadside Assist staff to support EV drivers on the road
- The development of the future of mobility with exploration of fleet EV conversion across the state.
Queensland has the World’s Longest Electric Superhighway so it was important to highlight this impressive stat to an engaged MotorFest audience. On a custom 3D map of Queensland we highlighted all 58 stops and showcased RACQ’s investment in infrastructure by lighting up the nine RACQ owned stops.
We also had fun highlighting the stops with a touch screen game. Two 55 inch touch screens were integrated into the space with the person with the fastest driving fingers, scoring a SIXT 3-day EV hire and accommodation voucher to get out and explore Queensland.
Over 200 people entered their details to play, with an additional 50 people also playing along for fun. This game was a hit with adults and children alike, as adults competitive nature hit the fore and children enjoyed taking part. Over 1000 temporary tattoos were also handed out across the day.
As RACQ continue monitoring and trialling a variation of commercial EVs to grow their EV fleet, we also featured the Ford F150 Lighting and LDV eDeliver 7 to demonstrate RACQ’s commitment to a greener future.
